This is the story that goes with the photo as copied and pasted from my face book page:

*A story from my Saturday for my dear reader... After we had walked Greyhounds at the rescue, me, Melly Moo and her little boy went to the Harvester in West Byfleet for lunch. Mell is like me and has what my dear friend G calls the village idiot mentality about eating out so an all you can eat salad bar suits us fine. I digress... We were right near the entrance and this very frail and extremely unkempt and uncared for old man wandered in. The greeter stopped him and said "we haven't got your table for you today sir." After some conversation the greeter suggested he ordered his meal at the bar and ate it outside with his dog. While the old chap was ordering, Mell and I who because of our careers are very used to elderly people and all of their ways agreed how well the situation had been handled. So I went and told the greeter so. He told us the gentleman comes in every week, usually managing to bypass the greeter and take the large table to himself at the back of the restaurant where he can keep an eye on his dog outside. But when the place is busy they can't let him do this. As the old gentleman was in such a poor way I popped outside to see the dog expecting to see some poor filthy pooch, and this is what I found... Made me smile and I might just leave a compliment on the Harvester website because I was so impressed with the staff. So impressed that I didn't even suggest we did a runner which is just as well because we had eaten so much we could hardly walk... *
