Holiday Train

This year, Canadian Pacific's Holiday Train made a stop at the Montreal West station. Although the Montreal West Junction was once a busy station, giving the small town its name, it been a long time since anything more exciting than a commuter train passed through the centre of town. It was fun to watch the illuminated train coming down the tracks and pulling into the station. The last box car opened up into an outdoor stage for a short concert of Christmas songs such as Run, Run Rudolph. Then the stage was folded back up into the train, and it disappeared into the night!

Uh, indeed, for now your beautiful train is visible only if you click the 'comments' or if you are here from the 'latest'…

Wow, Love this. I am a lover of the old locomotives. In the UK it is the old steam trains that are brought out to run the christmas specials.

Thanks Facto that looks fun - rotating pics and then rotating them back can work too - that was a tip Mat gave me but he didn't know why!!!

Love the little story! As with Helen's post, this is what an Advent Calendar is all about! Each picture and story is a doorway for us to peek into another world we'd never know about.
