You imagine defining moments will be somehow bigger. Riding off in to the sunset or the very definite closing of a door. But what if you just close the door quietly as if there are sleeping occupants and get in the car. And instead of the swell of uplifting music you put on R4 and listen to the last part of the Seven Tests even though you missed at least 4 parts somewhere in the middle. And suppose the road doesn't stretch out before you throwing up endless possibilities and routes, you just get stuck at those roadworks where they've closed one side of the road and put in a temporary light. You stop for lunch at a place you've stopped a hundred times before and read emails off your phone. And when you get to the place which is now home, you just slip in quietly, smile fondly, pet the cat and put the kettle on. A complete absence of drama just another happy homecoming.

No ride in to the sunset, more of a gentle stroll because you arrived there a while ago.

Hello ladies. Not as exciting as it sounds. I sold my place near the South Coast. On Friday I left it for the last time... It was easier to walk away than I thought it would be. Everyone I know had holidays and weekends there, we had so many good times and we even spent a Christmas there one year. It's not the same anymore, time to move on :(

On a mindfulness course at the moment and acceptance and moving on is fundamental progress/survival x
