Kimberley Aboriginals always talk about the emu located in the winter milky way. I always thought that they had a very good imagination and it wasnt until I processed this image that it stuck out.

You can only see it during the cooler months of the year. When you came, it was definitely a bloody hot month:)

Are you interested in coming to the KALACC 2014?

23rd Dec 2013, 18:33

Dhamaka says:

Definitely! Both to the hotness of the month and to coming to KALACC 2014.
I've already approached the organisers to ask if they'd be OK with it (they are) and am trying to get a grant. I would like to bring out a printer and be able to print off the images I take of people and give them back there and then. Maybe we could skype early next year? If possible I'd like to stay with some people who can help me understand what is going on for a week or so before, do some video recording, visit James Price Point again and if you're working I'd like to go out on more 'lessons' to experience more of how you do that, to write about it.
I'm hoping that by doing that I'll understand more of the dances and be able to portray them better in image and word. xx
