I'm sorry, but I have to say it -- looks like they liked the idea of the iMac G5 and took the concept of "the actual computer is strapped to the back of the screen" a little TOO literally. ;D

bmal says:

mac standard designs are better than standard pc design any day!!

22nd Sep 2005, 16:13

kostika says:

I'm sure the idea is stolen. Nothing is original these days. But these mean small space saving machines that are easy to transport and easy to set up. From an IT point of view these things are a dream.

22nd Sep 2005, 16:13

kostika says:

Bmal I wouldn't go that far. I like the design of my PC I have at home. And nothing beats rack mounted servers.

22nd Sep 2005, 16:14

bmal says:

clamshell ibook and the new ibook win over any pc designed laptop ever

22nd Sep 2005, 16:20

PLAH. I agree, but i have a dell Laptop so im going to stand by my statement of PLAH!

I actually rather like the Sony laptop design myself. But again I'mnot a mac fan in general after doing support for them.

22nd Sep 2005, 16:30

bmal says:

ipod looka at the. which one would u prefer ipod nano oR another mp3 player

22nd Sep 2005, 16:32

kostika says:

A sony bean actually. I don't like the nano or ipods.

22nd Sep 2005, 16:33

bmal says:

play it by price £ 75 for 512 on the bean or twice the price for 8 times the space.

22nd Sep 2005, 16:36

bmal says:

taste thats what it is some pc are good lets not get in to arguments and all that.

22nd Sep 2005, 16:37

kostika says:

I don't need huge amounts of space. 1gig/200 songs is enough for me.

The only reason I might want something bigger would be for data transport.

I'll say it again - I like my dell desktop at home :)

Our work computers are all IBM... and I mean *ALL* - everything comes from them, right down to memory sticks :)

"I'm sorry, but I have to say it -- looks like they liked the idea of the iMac G5 and took the concept of "the actual computer is strapped to the back of the screen" a little TOO literally. ;D"

Actually neither were original. Acer did a model like this about.. um... 2 years before the new Imac came out? about 4 years ago?

Was very ahead of it's time, for a pc. USB only, nicely designed blue and grey rounded chassis.

and a 300mhz processor. *sigh*

We have dells at work too. France Telecom signed a deal with dell where we have to buy all our lappys from them, and we already had shitloads of desktops. thankfully i am a hardware scrounger, so i have a Sun Ultra 10 and a Mac as well as my linux dell and my windows dell - hardware whore, i am.
