It is good. Very comfy, and time away from the net clears my head.
Actually Viv, when I'm in the bush it's not a break, I'm working, taking photos of plants all day, rain or shine. Coming home to a hot shower, a refrigerator, and the internet is the break. Going up again next Saturday.
It's a break from routine - it's stimulating - language is strange - but get your point :) We need contrasts in our life that's for sure.
Hi SR. Nice clean camp site you have. What is that yellow thing in the back ground. If I was to have 3 guesses it would be 1. Umbrella 2. Satellite dish cover or 3. Tent.
BTW that is a very small camping mug by Aussie standards:)
J, THAT yellow thing is my fantastic tent. Weighs nothing, takes two minutes to set up and there's lots of room. Dogs like it too. This is in a provincial park so you get a picnic table and a firepit all set up. This was really cushy camping compared to some places where I was this summer.
I love looking at camp sites. I've gone on long walkabout lately. Will go through your pics that you've put up in the last 6 months, I'll post some of my camp sites I have in the past.
I haven't posted much from last summer--plant identification takes me forever, good work for cold snowy days. Usually I don't photograph my campsites--but will from now on. Maybe we need a new Moblog group-Camping
