Boys Village
The Boy's Village, St Athan was a holiday camp for the sons of Miners from the Welsh Valleys, now derelict. Further info here.
It's a fantastic place to take photographs. There are so many photo opportunities it's difficult to know where to start. And needless to say I was very glad that Daughter suggested it. I can forsee many more visits to come.

Taniwha, thanks. I spilled blood taking that shot. When you're taking photos in a place like this it's not a good idea to walk backwards trying to get more in the shot without looking because there just might be a big hole behind you which you might fall into. Hit my knee and grazed my hand in the process. It's a good job my camera has a titanium body because it got smacked on the concrete pretty hard.

Wendle, thanks. Yes it was a swimming pool. It had a roof apparently, long since collapsed. Makes a good canvas for graffiti though!
