There are 1m and 2m helium balloons on the market but they're expensive, to buy and to fill with helium.
The kites I use are 2m and more across. The one that "took" this pic flies well in light winds but won't lift the main rig, weighing in at 1kg, in those light winds, hence the lightweight phonecam-rig.
I have done video, but it can get very bumpy up there, make you sea sick watching it.
