This was the Aylesbury arm taniwha. Starting from the Aylesbury end. About 4.5 miles of it (and back). I wanted to do the whole 6 miles to Marsworth but didn't have time as it was a couple of miles to the canal from where I was staying.
There is something special about Sunday mornings when there's barely anyone else around. The dog walkers petered out after a mile or so and I only passed a pair of runners and a pair of hikers the whole way. Bliss.
