Thanks, Factotum. I've been shooting birds a lot lately so it's good to have a place where I can post my bird photos as I take them, without worrying about filling up my moblog with birds. Groups do seem to go a bit unnoticed here, though, which is a shame.

Thanks, taniwha. It was pure luck. I spotted the bird, approached carefully, looked around in search of something I could lean against (I didn't have the tripod with me), got everything ready and, just as I pressed the shutter... :)
