Hello and welcome to my moblog. Here are lots of random images from my life at home on the Isle of Lewis and out and about.
The photos are mostly taken with my iPhone 3GS, but I'll also be posting some from my Nikon D80.
You can see more of my photography at my website 58 North Photography.

This is 58 degrees north - the far north of Scotland. I've lived here three years and it's the first time I've seen it here, although there has been a solar minimum for a couple of years, meaning not as many displays - we're on the way out of that now, so hoping to see some more. It is possible to see them further south, but only very occasionally.
wonderful. It's always special. It's been a good time to see them even in southern Ontario too.
Woowww. How did you notice it was there, it must have given you such a wonderful surprise! I'm trying not to get over excited about Northern Lights, I'm going to the Lapland for a week at the end of November and trying not to hope too hard that I'll see them!
I had a knock on the door at 10pm - my neighbour saying I had to come outside NOW! Her daughter had been out getting some air and had seen it. Very lucky.
Hope you get to see them on your Lapland trip, I'm very jealous. It's supposed to be a good year for sightings. I'm hoping to get to northern Norway soon, to see them properly.
You lucky, lucky thing! The pics are amazing! I'm VERY envious! :D
Fantastic pictures. What an experience. I hate to say this but, you know, I don't think we can match this in Essex!
