Sucker for reflections and repeating geometry. Erratic uploader but always taking more pics. Now more behind than ever thanks to several recent work trips.

Currently shooting with a Panasonic DMC-TZ3, which has all the zoom I could ever need, but lacks some other refinements. It'll do until there's an affordable SLR with enormo-zoom that I can fit in my pocket; watching the Four Thirds consortium with interest ...

I was in this shopping arcade in Stockholm and one wall was this slightly nubbly, burnished metal. It just reflected and distorted everything so beautifully.

Heheh, no worries. And thanks, interesting — I would have said it was more Manet or Renoir, but I guess (post-)impressionism is in the eye of the beholder!

You're exactly right. I read a while ago that Monet's later pictures reflected his increasingly bad eyesight - blurry like this.
