That's brilliant! I love getting things working again. I've just done the same with my brother-in-law's bike in Ireland, although nothing as impressive as what you are doing :)

Thanks E, it's been quite fun rebuilding this one. I got it for £25 and up until today it hadn't cost me a penny more. The respray etc was all done at work, using colours we had in stock. I got our sprayer to do the bars, forks and cranks in grey, but did the frame myself. It's good fun, because whilst the finish isn't as good as he would achieve, you know you've done it yourself.
Just need to sort out the bottom bracket and a chain, then it'll be good to ride for Dan. He's really excited about riding it :)
The boardman is absolutely lovely to ride, courtesy of the "ride to work" scheme from the previous government's idea box :)
