Hi, I'm Rick also known as Mr. C. I used to shoot with a Canon SLR, but that was a long while back. I got a new camera, an Olympus SP-510UZ on 11/06/06. I've added a Nikon D90 with a 55-200 lens to my camera bag in 2010. I'll get a camphone if Almont ever enters the 21st century.
I'm now shooting with a brand new Nikon D90 with a 55-200mm VR lens.
These are wonderful! I love the ladybird in the 2nd shot, and the grass & flowers in number 6; both faved.
Lovely shots. The turtles are great. The echinacea and prickly pear in the lower shots make me think of some sort of herbal tea :)
Thanks, Euphro. The Turtle shots are at the max of my 200MM lens, with a whisp of something in the foreground blurring the image. The close by turtles all dove away when I got nearer than 50 yards.
yeah for Herbal tea! Echinacea purpurea is what is wild here. the strongest medicinally, but hard to grow commercially. Best roots are 4 to 8 years old, and grow on the sides of pasture land hills.
