monarch eggs are kind of white and oval and the caterpillars are beautiful. it's too cold here for that. the monarch moms and dads are gathering down by the lake getting ready to go to Mexico. I want to go to Mexico. It was a stupid summer and I never got hot. not fair.

Hmm. Nope, they're covered in teensy little yellowy orangey egglike things. Kind of icky, if you must know.

I have seeds floating all over my house because the pods exploded overnight.
My friend's and I grew up catching these throughout the neighborhood, first you catch one for a friend or lover and tell them to; While They Are Holding It Up To The Sun, Close Their Eyes, and 'MAKE A WISH' and if it's a good wish it will come true. But the spell breaks if they tell anyone what the wish is, but of course you are allowed to guess, and if you are a good guesser ya could help that wish come true if ya work really hard at it. I hope all of your wishes are coming true, I've been doing the best that I can.

Wow love this place .. @ nancy, I was there too, Swamprose , i really dig milkweed, was just telling the boys about how cool they are and the butterflies, and everything that lives and grows is so true to my heart <3
