I'm averaging about 15 or 16mph, over a distance of 5.6 miles. It's slightly more uphill going home which is why this time is a little slower than my best "to work" time :)
This now means I can start riding the black pearl again, but I'm tempted to keep going on the yellow peril, to see if I can beat the time again.
The logic is as follows:
I had fastests time to and from work that I set on the mountain bike, but the general consensus was that the racer would prove to be a lot quicker.
My ride is slightly more uphill on the way home and it's taken me all summer, because it's been so windy, to finally set a faster time on the racer than my best on the mountain bike.
Hopefully that makes it a tad clearer than mud :)
