NY American Museum of Natural History

No idea what this building is that we passed on our way to the museum, but I quite liked it. Most of the exhibits we in glass cages not moving, but one beastie was running around the floor.

Once again I was drawn to the window to look out at the view.

Oh fantastic. I have always wanted to visit the Museum of Natural History. I imagine I could spend an astonishingly long time there!

Actually the AMNH is really uneven. A lot of the museum is badly in need of updating and refubishment, and the exhibits reflect their age. The "money making" exhibits are all much newer and the difference is obvious.

As to the building- upper west side, central park west... I want to say it's in the 70s. I know the building. Somewhere in my brain I even know the name of it. It'll come to me.

Did you go see the whale?
