Haha, yes, true.Where many people head for the seaside for their holidays we head inland :)
that is truly inland - we lived in Shropshire for about 8 years and that is it's worst point - so long since I've been to Shrewsbury I've forgotten what it's like. Alan used to do one day a week there.
Shrewsbury is very pretty, at least the bit you represented photographically! :) It's always a pleasure to me to see dogs happily following their nose when they get to someplace different.
Looks lovely! Tim looks like he's off on some big adventure @3...
Viv, yes I don't know where the nearest beach would be from here. Rhyl maybe? Wouldn't like to live that far from the sea but nice to visit. We lived in Bath for many years and it was about an hour and a half to get to any decent beach.
Caine, yes it is very pretty in places. The Abbey was a bit of a disappointment, though. Tim is pretty adaptable. I don't think he cares so long as he is with us. Also, the car is his 'home' when we're away so it's a familiar space for him.
Twiglet, he had a lot of fun exploring that field. It's the 'dog run' for the caravan site so lots of doggy smells to investigate.
Never knew Shrewsbury was so photogenic!
Hope the weather's holding out for you guys.
Joker, presumably you're like me, only ever driven round the outskirts of the town. It doesn't look much from the A5 does it? :)
I parked overnight once in the Shrewsbury cattle market but I was so knackered I just slept through till dawn.
