SR reminded me of the sarcophagi when she spoke of the "weird and unusual things" that people put in their gardens. They seemed to answer to her description.

My cat is an idiot. He'd wrecked a cruciate ligament by the time he was a year old. He's forever going over on it again & hobbling for days but does not ever learn that the cause of his pain is his own excess of bravado, impetuosity & general derring-do.

Maybe they would need a steadying influence on their expedition - Chloe is the cat who got stuck up the fir tree for 2 days. Rescued by tree surgeon! They might not last long together without a sensible lead cat.
