Hound Service (mobile dog grooming in norwich)

brushed and clipped; shampoo'd and conditioned; blow dry!

The blow dryer was less unpopular than I'd expected. He seemed pretty much ok with the whole thing, all things considered.

He's so clean and soft now, it's incredible.

I'm mentioning mobile dog grooming in norwich, just in case the nice chap with the van needs more work (although I had to book almost two months in advance, so he's not short of work!). He did a great job, was very impressed.

Colour me impressed, that's a splendid service & Lemmy doesn't appear even slightly fazed. Mildly reproachful over the nail-clipping though...

Nice! My parents use a similar service called Woof Waggin', she gives them a discount as she can come out to the boonies where they live and park in their yard and make a morning of it, grooming not only their dog but also the neighbors 2 Goldens and the other neighbors Airedale and Papillion.

What's bad about nail clipping? I've never done it myself, so he's only been done once in just over two years.

If done incorrectly, it can be quite painful. Many dogs have it done wrong as puppies and forever dread having it done again. Also, some dogs seem to have an instinct to protect their paws and they don't like to have them handled, which makes the job tougher. I've yet to meet a dachshund who makes it an easy job.

I can't believe you like the puppini sisters! They're GREAT!

EDIT: I saw Marcella at 'Last days of decadence' in Shoreditch to do her video clip.

Marcella & the forget me nots.

:)

Nowt wrong with a bit of close-harmony singing. :)

I found them when trying to locate a copy of Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy by the Andrews Sisters. Good stuff.

hildegard says:

Sorry, unclear; I'm not even slightly reproachful, it just seemed a slightly "Aw, now what have you got me into?" expression that Lemmy has there.

this is really fantastic. We don't have mobile...we do have the 'Wag'n Wash' which you do yourself. Ru loved ALL water and we had a great time and everyone got really wet.

Last time, she was so clean I made people wash their hands before they played with her. One small moment.

Andrew Sisters rock too. I used their 'Bie Mir Bitsu Shein' song for a routine, which I am doing again on June 20th

Hi
Does Dial a Dog Wash offer a complete grooming service or is the emphasis on dog washing?

14th Jun 2009, 20:57

mat says:

There's a list of what they do on the side of the van in the last photo.

Short answer: complete grooming.

that is one fine service. We used to shear poor old Fuchsia once a year, sometimes she lost patience with us and wandered off half cut - so to speak.

Hi Neil
yes Dial a dog wash does the whole job, just as it says on the van. Its a great idea to leave your dog at home in there safe hands rather than travel to the parlour. I think ther is another opperator in the area working with martin now, Simon, hes just as good.
