green roofs are not green. mostly succulents, a lot of red in spring. they look like tundra.

I think your garden, AF, is doing quite a bit for the environment.

Canada has passed a law prohibiting the use of chemicals on lawns. Dow Chemicals is fighting it on the grounds that it is illegal under the free trade act.

Our lawn is definitely free range

but we english do seem to take inordinate pride in a perfect green lawn

my garden is pretty feral anyway - far too feral in parts!

the self seeded foxgloves around the house should look good soon though :)
