23rd Aug 2005, 23:13

Helen says:

Life and stuff.

It was 'The Scream' yesterday. So today is possibly better.

Steve says:

Miffed is much better than a scream

Helen says:

I think my co-workers may feel that way too.

How American is that? Co-workers, I mean colleagues.

Badges? We don't need no stinking badges.

I'm not sure what I'd call the people I work with. I don't think of them as cow-orkers, or colleauges.

fellow skivers?

24th Aug 2005, 01:41

alexis says:

*nods* that's what my "(that one?)" was supposed to suggest. but, the internet capable portion of my brain turned off. or. possibly it was the whole thing that went.

Helen says:

Thank you sunnidae, that actually makes me feel a lot better.

I'm hoping for more than an hour's worth of work today (they still hold me captive for the other 6 hours), but I have The Amber Spyglass to embark upon -- I just need to feel less guilty about reading when everyone else seems to have stuff to do.

Thank you Alexis. I think I'm yo-yoing a bit at the moment.

24th Aug 2005, 12:36

Helen says:

I just head straight for the music. I don't need the other stuff.

24th Aug 2005, 12:39

Helen says:

I do quite like that aspect. I think the problem here is that this is week 4... and they don't seem to really need me any more.
