I like the last one :-) Un cochon avec attitude... Tout dans les oreilles ;-)
They were having just the best time - they'd been turned out onto a new patch of woodland & were busy clearing the ditches of all the tasty soft new growth.
your woods have happy animals. ru would be pleased to help them with mud, and any chasing.
Lovely pics of lovely pigs. The hens are good too, we don't want any hurt feelings do we?
The chooks were entertaining - he was in lurve but hopelessly greedy - he'd start scuttling after her, feathers all puffed up, then he'd notice a worm or a seedling & get totally distracted. I don't anticipate many Pekin chicks this year. ;)
They're fab. There's a herd of pigs grazing our local arboretum. Gloucester Old Spot crossed with something else. They really do look happy as the proverbial...
It's a small farm tucked into a crease in a suburb; they rely on school parties & the like to keep going, so they choose their stock for high Cute values. :)
JD - Did wonder if this was a Tamworth cross but s/he looks so very Oxfordish, thought I'd go with that. It's disputed that Oxfords are an actual breed in any case so my position is, if it looks like an Oxford, squeals like an Oxford, etc. Can imagine pigs being an ornament to an aroboretum. Until the warm weather comes...
