Dogs. Fiber Arts. Occasional Cats, Trolleys & Trains & Flowers. And other moments from my life that I find interesting.
**Motorola ic902 - Probably the best of the (poor) choices with Nextel for a camera phone.
**Canon Powershot A430 - Oh, how I love thee, let me count the ways....Primary camera - if it a good photo, this took it.

Jenny's woobie

We bought this huge stuffed animal at Easter just to see what Bandit
would make of it. It is bigger than him. He plays with it a bit, then
loses interest when we won't let him destroy it. We put it on a shelf
when we can't directly supervise him with it. Don tossed it on the
floor tonight but Bandit wasn't interested. Jenny, however, started
headbutting it around so I put it on the blanket she seems to like best,
she pushed it around until she had it just right and has been zonked out
on it since. We'll let her have it every evening if it makes her happy.

She's doing pretty OK these days. We have her on a new heart medication
and it seems to be working well. We've also started to have her and
Bandit sleep in their crate down here as it seems if she has the bedroom
to move around in, she has to pee 3 times a night - and so neither of us
were getting anywhere near enough sleep. Still, what the beagle wants,
the beagle gets pretty much - at this point we're after quality more
than quantity as far as time. Now we both sleep all night and I just
have to hustle to get her out in the morning.

Aaw, bless her little heart. She's such a doll.

That's my girl! And yes, she's fast asleep there, she's always tended to sleep with her eyes half open, which freaked Don right out the first time he noticed it.

A lot of dogs do that, Matoska does it about half the time. :)

Thanks for the comments all! She may be a bit daft Joker, but she is the doggie equivalent of nearly 80 years old, so she's allowed to be a little daft! She is enjoying the spring a great deal now that she's feeling better. :D

Lovely, Tim sleeps with his eyes open most of the time, too.

how's she doing these days?

silar31 says:

Swamprose, she is doing ok. Humid days seem to bother her quite a lot so we'll be putting the air conditioners in early this year. She can still pull a silly moment like no other dog, still eating well, and generally a happy girl. She just sleeps more, and can't handle long walks anymore - two laps around the yard is about her speed.
