Twee! The longer i live here (all of two weeks not) the more I think they're both cute and can't live with them either.

F- apologies but I'm going to be giving them to a neighbour who has a long history with my house. Her father in law lived here until his death and she and her husband shared the house in the early years of their marriage. When I won the house at auction, she was the first to congratulate me and was very teary-eyed at the time. She obviously has lovely memories in this hopuse, so I thought it might help her to have them and come to terms with my buying and renovating the place.

That's even better. I'm happy that they're going to somebody who has a real connection to them!
