As a teenager I knew everything....I'm still trying to figure out when I forgot it all.

Not your average Sunday afternoon.

Today I abseiled down the side of the Fort Dunlop building in Birmingham for
the Stroke Association.

I chose to do it for a number of reasons, My Nan has had strokes, my cat and
rabbit too, but I suppose this is the biggest one:

The research they've funded into the cause and treatment of stroke, and
other brain related injures, with monies raised by events like this means
people are surviving an illness that previously would have devastated lives
and if big events like this had been in vogue 25 years ago and had the money
was available then, they may have been able to save my Dads life.

If you would like to donate now you have seen the proof, visit

and if you need further proof that I made it down all by myself

Contemplating a parachute jump for next year actually, but I need to lose some weight/get fitter first!

It'll be a double header to raise money for charity and to celebrate my 30th birthday I think!

(see now I've said it publicly I need to be more committed to getting fit to do it)
