We heard today that she passed her grade one singing exam (which she took on Monday) with merit. At 83% she only needed 4 more marks for a distinction and it was the theory not the singing where she slipped up. Apparently her performance of "where is love?" from Oliver was perfect and got special mention for expression. We are monstrously proud, she has only been having lessons since October when the talent became so obvious. And of course she has had problems with her hearing in the past. In case you're wondering, there isn't a childrens' section, it's the same test as the adults take. I have my Mother's day present early!
