Effortless entertaining when chic meets antique in a 200 year old farmhouse

Chic meets antique is a welcome surprise and much more interesting than predictable design. In this 200 year old stone and beamed ceiling room there is a very modern black laquer table with a 200+ year old antique bench from Paris under it. The top of the table is set at all times for cocktails. The accessories are very chic, modern and elegant, giving the room an elegnat twist. If it were decorated in top to bottom Queen Ann that would not only be a predictable theme but very boring and The Paris House doesn't do boring very well!! An eclectic mix is the hardest to do , that is why many people don't do it and buy the same theme for the room they are designing, they are not memorable rooms. Try thinking, designing and living outside the box. You'll be unforgettable!! Oh yeah and BTW always have a bar set so when family and friends stop by you can effortlessly throw together a cocktail and a few upscale snacks at a moments notice... You will not only be unforgettable but The Hostess with the Mostess in a home no one wants to leave
