I can etch, whooo! Ferric Chloride and a resist made from a damn sticker. I didn't think it would actually work but it totally did! This took about half an hour.

There's another experimental piece in the soup right now. We'll see how it looks in the morning - it's 20 gauge copper so I'm not particularly worried about it eating through, especially since the back is painted with an oil-based paint as a resist.

This is damn well like magic. Or alchemy at the very least.
