ditch the knobbly stuff and get some semi-slicks with kevlar sleeves, you'll forget how to change them before they wear out.
plenty grippity! I'm currently running Bontrager Hardcase Cruizers, which don't even skid on wet leaves!
meant 540's tyres but glad for a tip for something more grippity. My wife followed your advice on a decent bicycle maintenance book.
I think that slicks, or at least "street" tyres, will be the replacement for sure.
Sprocket, that's the angle dude, the tyre is slick in the middle now, but has plenty grip on both sides :)
