He loves the films Batman the beginning and Dark Knight sooooo much that we got him his own little Batman for Christmas. Comic fans please don't preach at me but I prefer *my* Batman to be accompanied by his youthful ward the Boy Wonder....

the world's most evil cults???

Twiglet says:

I quote from the cover:

*Real life stories of depraved and violent organizations...*

Can't remember where it came from, it may have been a present.

Batman begins and ends with Michael Keaton for me.

Spiderbaby says:

Is Batman researching the 'evil cults', ready to take them on? I look forward to that one :)

I always forget how interested mobloggers are in the background!

No Spiderbaby, you're looking at the wrong book. It's *Batman - The companion to Ethics* Or better still *Batman and the nature of the mind*! Now that's what I call film titles!

Twiglet says:

Shitake: Philosophy and comic book heroes, oh and motor bikes. That just about sums up The Beloved Spaceman.

shitake says:

:) This is simply cool! I for example like Wittgenstein and Spiderman. :)

It could be worse. It could be Wittgenstien and superman. In which case I would have to take you out!!!!!!!!

Rich says:

Batman! Rah. There's a lot of good Batman out at the moment, I heartily recommend this, then this and then you'll be needing this once it's out to complete the story. There's also Frank Miller's version what are here, which is completely off its nut, just crazy. Lotsa Robin in both of 'em, too.

Edit: Links don't really show up but most of those thises lead places.

MaggieD says:

Oh dear, I am one of those Mobloggers that tend to look at the background (especially when books are involved) .... did you see the recent QI where there were some rather dodgy Batman and Robin references?

15th Jan 2009, 21:36

Twiglet says:

Thanks Rich, BS will no doubt peruse your links, I certainly will as Frank Miller is a nut job....

Maggie, I hope no one suggested anything untoward or dare I say it slashy was going on between Bruce and Dick..... *Holy hoover manouver Batman...* !!!

15th Jan 2009, 21:46

was that the one which concerned Burt Wards preferred autograph technique?

15th Jan 2009, 21:47

MaggieD says:

Hobo, it was indeed ..... and let me say now, that I have not, and will never ask Burt Ward for his autograph .....

Kostika says:

To add to Rich's list, you should get Frank Miller's Dark Knight also.
