Cheap Flat.

I had a look around my living room today and noticed that I am quite "cheap" when it comes to my furniture. Could be because I prefer to spend my money on plants and travelling. Anyway- the space invader stickers were £30 (from, the blue sofa is from gumtree and was £20 including delivery, the table is from the St. Vincent's charity shop in east London and was £20 including delivery, the carpet is from Ikea for £10, I found the wood and glass TV table in front of my lifts, the other sofa (on the left) belongs to the flat. What can I say- I am easy to please. :-)

Your flat looks awesome. I love the plants above the door :)
If you can get lovely things you like for a nice low price, why wouldn't you? I love finding furniture. And gumtree. And freecycle! Me and my BeardyMan furnished our whole house for free!

What Wendle said. Why wouldn't you?

When we moved into our house we got a lot from the local Oxfam furniture shop. Consequently we have some lovely old-fashioned early 20th century furniture. People keep asking if the art-deco stuff is "antique". I suppose it is...but via house clearance stuff that no one else seems to want...

Your flat looks very modern considering that you don't buy much furniture new.
