This is my personal blog, not a venue for saleable images. In fact, because it's here that I share things that are important to me with the members of the moblog community, photo quality's not my priority. Events, occasions, achievements, thoughts, trips and experiments - you'll find them all here. Contact me for the development version of my photo portfolio, for a selection of saleable images or visit my dance photography blog or my website for cuttings. And remember that all photos remain my copyright unless I've specifically said otherwise.

Toddy says:

I always find it amazing that Dancers seen to have this innate ability to look graceful, not look where they are going and not fall over.

I would just fall flat on my face... : )

Looks like great fun

In the thumbnail, that red and black skirt looks like a tartan flamenco outfit, which is an interesting thought!

I agree Toddy. I wish that I *ever* looked that graceful.

thank you everyone

it really is challenging. Dancing with hands, arms, legs, feet, body and face, with different parts of the body moving at different speeds is a real challenge. I was always one of the slowest to learn new moves but after flamenco have found learning every other dance I've tried considerably easier.

I'd like to go back and learn more flamenco but can't dedicate the time for lessons and practice that it would require :(
