Am gutted the new macbooks dont come with a firewire port! Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame. Not able to move any of my backups on external hard drive. Wondering if i should downgrade to a mac that does. The upgrade is ridiculously expensive and dont seem to have much in the way of extra features.

So disappointed!

I believe that USB2 is faster than firewire, and the new macs are meant to move everything via usb. My external drives all have both.
