At home the cats are not allowed on the counter. In the RV, there is no place else that their food and water can go that the dogs cannot get at it.
However, every time we turn around the damn cats are drinking the fish water and terrifying the fish.
So, when we are stopped, but not cooking something in it, the fish goes in the microwave for safe keeping.
