Always on the look out for design/film/animation/photo taking inspiration - Oh, and travel ideas, (although anything in Japan will always win hands down for me). Currently based in the North East of Scotland.

Thanks taniwha - I know what you mean - abstract lines and all that. When I was younger I wanted to work for factory records, sounded like a designers dream!

well, apparently the cost of producing your design would be no object. Apparently the Blue Monday cover lost the company money.

Peter Saville made some brilliant covers - I watched a documentary about them and they spoke about the amount of mistakes they made. Joy Division's 'unknown pleasures' album cover was also incredibly expensive to roll through production and they made a loss for every one made. Brilliant. Design anarchy!

I didn't know about that though I wonder if in the long term it has all paid off. You know, I used to have an Unknown Pleasures t-shirt when I was a teenager. Couldn't listen to Joy Division now - just too evocative of that time.
