Scientists say we have less than 100 months to peak in emissions and start bringing them down if we're going to beat climate change - which is why we campaign for the use of low carbon energy technologies that are available now (renewables, combined heat and power and efficiency).

It's certainly a good thing to promote these renewable resources. I don't understand why it should come at the cost of supporting research into future even-more-efficient means of generating clean energy, such as nuclear fusion.
