Dunno Joker, it's nice light for a spot of landscape photography in early Oct, & Britain often gets what's called St Luke's Little Summer (feast of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist Luke; Oct 18). Also, autumn may mean fewer of those voracious giant midges they keep up there. The younger element is back in school too, not cluttering up the tourist attractions... The more I think of it, the more convinced I am that there's method in his madness. :)
