Got inspired by this post. Such a lovely shot...

Ah and thanks Julian for bringing me some square paper plates from Berlin. I've never seen any in the UK. Where do you guys transport cake and sausages on?

Really like the drawing, but it seems to me a little overwhelmed by the 'frame' ....

I kind of agree with Maggie like the drawinfg but do think the frame slightly detracts from it

I like the paper plate as a frame for the drawing.

Er, I don't know where you get the big, rectangular ones but you can buy packs of round paper plates at any stationer.

Judo-Jule says:

i dont want the round ones though- much too big and much too, errr, round.

having a square plate makes so much more sense in my brain. drawingwise...

OJ says:

Oh, I thought you may have also wanted them for cake and sausages, in which case round can be fine!

If I see any square ones, I'll let you know. Try searching for "paper platters". My friend google came up with these oval ones.

Great artwork!
Those Kasekuchen paper plates are exclusive to Germany. I'm sure there's a ban on them crossing borders or something.
