What's that thingi beside your computer, possibly on top of your CPU? It looks like some aethyr-filled steampunk centrifuge. (Although I'm beginning to see the world in steam-colored glasses lately.)

Faerie - hello! What that is...it's a very weird audio speaker called a sub-woofer. I haven't gotten it to actually work on Zax (my box) yet. I borrowed it in anticipation of sound-effects I would be wanting to screen out, but it turns out that the position of the grotto is such that they don't carry as badly as I thought, so I haven't put loads of effort into trying to get the subwoofer working; D will want it back for one thing, and it really only sounds good if you have a decent midrange and tweeter to use it with...and I don't.

It looks like a terrarium with silver plants in it doesn't it? No one would even be able to look at it up close and know it was an audio speaker.
