As a teenager I knew everything....I'm still trying to figure out when I forgot it all.

...are they real "Orbs"

Friday night I went out with 3 of my friends to play Ghostbusters - An over
night ghost hunt to Derby Gaol. It was fun, spooky, fun, strange and
somewhat overwhelming. I know what I felt, I know what happened I also know
the reasoning so it's up to me to decide how much I read into it -

t was so very different to my first "hunt" in Dudley Castle so much more
hands on - and a lot more "interesting" I'll definitely be doing it again at
some point.

Oooooh WOOOOW...

That woman's completely co-ordinated in Blue :D...

The Orbs are cool Steph - did you feel any presences in the room with you at all? were they good or evil? Cool :D

Oh brilliant! We did one of them a couple of summers ago - with Richard Felix? He's really great at it.

We went with him round York too - more of a tour than a ghost hunt, but still really great stuff. He's really entertaining!

I've tagged mine with Derby Gaol now too :)

OUr wasn't with Richard Felix himself but with his team - it was seriously fun!

(and a little spooky scary overwhelming)

THis wasn't a tour it was a proper vigil with some very suprising results!!

What did you think??

Taniwha -

The photos I don't know, The top and bottom ones are almost certainly dust and/or a reflection.

The middle on is purple, I know there was nothing on my lens and it could not be recreated no matter how many pictures I took and shortly after taking this picture the cage hanging in the door way started swaying with no apparent cause. I'd like to think that it was genuine photo of an "orb" whatever teh cause may be.

These photo however aren't what spooked me most about that night.

The ouiji board upset me greatly and don't ask me to elaborate becasue I wont.

All I'm saying is something came up that I was approached with by one of the mediums with that not even the people I was there with were aware of.

Was it paranormal? Someone speaking from "beyond the grave" or Did the "medium" just pick something up off my energy and conclude correctly as to what was going on I don't know either way it was overwhelming for me to know that someone could KNOW something about me without me telling them. Something that could not be gained from the people I was with or googled in advance to "set me up" for the night!

It was suprising and I'm still trying to be as open minded as possible about it despite still feeling a little spooked.

I figure whatever the reason or cause It was still a fun, interesting night out and well worth the money, dinner at the begining, breakfast at the end and some suprises in the middle.

I can't wait to try it out again!

Ours was a proper vigil in Derby, but it was quite busy, so could have been a bit better with more time and fewer people around...

I'm very much a sceptic when it comes to ouija boards/table tipping etc, but don't think that's reason enough to dismiss it all out of hand, so I did give it a go, and it was interesting the feel how it was happening, but not much data came out that was beyond vague words etc.

I was mildly impressed by some data appearing that was corroborated by a information board in another room that none of us had read before, but it wasn't really specific enough for me to be bowled over.

I have no idea what kind of info you were supplied with Essitam, but I'd struggle to be convinced this wasn't cold reading...

I'd love to get back into all this. I've just heard of a new-ish group in Leeds, which I might look into :)
