Nice pictures. The trees scared me a bit, think I would freak out if an owl swooped out of those.

I didn't see or hear any owls, bears, raccoons, or beavers (snigger). I did however see black squirrels (are you allowed to say that?) and a Killer whale.

My friend was in Canada this summer and she saw a beaver. So you can't have been looking hard enough. She also saw a moose.

I didn't go to any of the places that beavers tend to hang out.

We did see 10 or 12 brown and white bears on hill side in a herd... eating grass... but we think they might have been cows.

My sister has lived in Alberta for 6 years & never seen a moose. she thinks they may be an urban myth or something that the Canadian tourist board dreamt up in an attempt to get more visitors!
