Hey JE, there was a purpose. We did animal survey work with the Dept of Enviroment and Conservation mob. Lots of work early in the morning and late in the afternoon, which left some time in the middle of the day to have a captain cook.

I dont do too much horticulture any more, more into ranger training. Horticulture training is very hardwork, this is much more fun:)
