Wow, cool photo. There was tons of lightning up in Cambridge yesterday too.

Your CSS is doing the same thing that mine did; do you know how to prevent your photos from being slightly see-through? I got so annoyed with it I gave up in the end.

rab - there isn't an easy fix, 'cos of the way css layers opacity - you can't just say "make boxes partly see-through, but not the images in those boxes", it seems.

If you go through your css and remove lines that look a bit like this:

opacity: 0.98;
filter: alpha(opacity=98);

That will fix it. Although you won't have fancy semi-transparent backgrounds for your text panels.
