One might think that I saw this in a bookstore. That might make it expected, but no. Believe it or not, this was next to the checkout registers at a Bed, Bath, and Beyond in midtown Manhattan.

Some people just aren't happy unless they're playing chicken little. I sometimes wonder about those people who left their lives, bought mountain compounds with half a dozen generators, etc., for Y2K stayed there out of embarrassment.
