I used to be in a band called Peptone. I recently found these tracks on a tape and managed to get them into MP3 format...

Glasgow Noisepop (Demos)

Some are rubbish, but I can definately reccommend Girlfriend and Shiney Faces.

And here are some final tracks that are a bit... better :)

Radio EP

Would love to hear heaps of praise, but failing that just what you think will be nice :)

It's very good, but why 'peptone'?

seaneeboy says:

Dunno really, it was the singers idea.

I think there is a chemical called peptone, and he managed to get a hold of some at some point, but it was weird and glowy and he probably shouldn't have had it.

I think your thinking of a peptide ;) - great songs tho mate, pity you had to go all middle class on our asses ;)

crickson says:

Peptone is a proper thing - it's partially degraded protein used in bacterial and tissue culture. Funny thing to name a band after...

Only if your a chemist, crickson. If you're a bunch of drunken ignoramouses (sp? see?) like us then it's just a nice word made up of "Pep" and "Tone" :)

Glad you like them frog51 - I was the guitarist.

Alfie - Indeed, the life of a charity do-gooder is a touch less rock-and-roll, but pays better.

Not much better, mind you...
