bronxelf says:

Euphro says:

I think some do, but the university nearly owns everything in the city :)

bronxelf says:

Sounds like NYU....

Euphro says:

For example, Trinity College Cambridge is the largest landowner in the UK after the Queen and the Church of England :)

kostika says:

Uh oh! There were cheese and peas involved. It had to be tragic.

Joe says:

:D like the one at Elland road...the only McDonalds in the world without yellow and red colour schemes aparently....

17th Jun 2005, 15:36

bronxelf says:

Not so. There's several in manhattan like that. One I believe even has a dress code (!!!)

17th Jun 2005, 15:37

Euphro says:

That's great :D

17th Jun 2005, 15:37

Joe says:

must be the only one in the UK then...thinking about it the main one in Amsterdam doesn't have the yellow and red either.

A dress code....pfffffffft!!

bronxelf says:

There's also some with table service, and delivery. Down by Wall Street it gets weird.

17th Jun 2005, 15:40

Euphro says:

That's amazing. I was a bit shocked to learn that they own Pret-a-Manger too.
