I'm in Leeds. Where most of these pictures are taken, shockingly. They're all taken with my mobile phone (currently a HTC Hero); photos from different cameras go on flickr :)

OOh...lovely.
That looks like a Barry Flannegan piece :)

nalsa says:

Blimey, that was well done. It is a Flanagan: iirc there was 5 of these made, this is one of them.

wow, it's also amazing how you can just tell a shot taken with a treo, maybe it's just me as I've used one for so long, but there is this deepness to the way it contrasts colours, and a richness to the hues that is totally distinctive.

What's he standing on? Looks like a Rhino horn...

I looove the Treo for shots like this. The camera saturates blues really well (which is why the Chimnies picture in the sidebar looks good and ended up on the shortlist for the Capture thing). It's a fantastic device - although the phone could be better - and I love it to bits.

The plinth the Hare is standing on is just a spikey thing, nothing like a rhino underneath :-) but the curve looks about right, doesn't it?

That's where I live! What are the odds?

That one replaced Heroes Of Light (my favourite) over last summer.

neel says:

The 'plinth' is a giant anvil (like wot falls on a Looney Tunes character).

17th May 2005, 22:34

nalsa says:

You know, I'd never noticed that it was an anvil. How daft am I?

You live in Bretton, neel? Are you a student there?

18th May 2005, 08:56

neel says:

Yup. Doin' this. Second year is grinding slowly to a close.
