bronxelf says:

What are you growing?

mat says:

well, there: coriander (cilantro?), parsley, poppies, mixed wildflowers, sweetcorn, thyme, broccili and some other things that are currently unknown..

round the corner from there is wild garlic, rocket, lettuce, basil, flax, heather, rosemary, lavender, marjoram, peas, potatoes, parsnips, carrots, raspberries and probably some other things that I've forgotton about. Between me and Rich, we've planted about 200square metres of wildflower meadow as well. s'very exciting..

this year is Gardening Year.

bronxelf says:

It sounds *lovely*. :D

one of the only things I miss about living in CA was having a space to grow things. Right now I just have houseplants, but I do have one moonflower plant.

I used to grow pretty good roses, though. You would approve. Taboos, stainless steels... very gothic gardening. :)

Wildflower meadow is great. My wife's parents did it two years ago at their place for my sister-in-law's wedding *digs for pics*

Hooray for gardening! This year I finally have a yard and some sun, and I am obsessed with checking my plants every day. Tomatoes, herbs, flowers, and lemons. :)

Ooh, how about a gardening shared moblog?

mat says:

and, done: gardens@moblg...

I've got a metric tonne of new shared moblogs to start at some point, but I must get the privacy/tags upgrades finished first. nearly there now....

Oh, I am so jealous. I desperately want a place to garden... the best I can manage at the moment is a tiny lemon tree (from elf's backyard when she lived out here, actually) and some windowboxes on the balcony.

13th May 2005, 19:25

bronxelf says:

You have the lemon tree?

13th May 2005, 19:30

amandarin says:

Yes, George-the-Lemon-Tree is currently sitting on my balcony, happy now that I have just wantered him.
