I am a female, carbon based lifeform.
I am a New York City Native.
I am a Design Professional.
I take photographs.
I also sculpt, paint, create mosaics, and play with weapons.

And sometimes, I even dance about Architecture.

What I see, is what you get.

I woke up to check my mail at 3 as usual but fell back to sleep instead of
getting up as I should have. My day just entered a *big* world of suck, and
none of it in a good way.

I tend to wake up between 2 and 3 to check email. And I thought to myself: I should get up-- I have4000 square feet left to design and I have to go to the darkroom tomorrow and I need photo paper, and I have to buy all the rest of that stuff for those boxes and I have to write that business plan and that ceramics connoisseurship essay and I need to email Andy about my thesis and I have to to laundry cause Im running out of underwear and I need to scoop kitty litter and I have to write a paper on gemstones and weaponry and I need to clean my kitchen.

And then I fell back to sleep.

I always feel guilty if I oversleep. Luckily we have a random alarm clock that is our 3 year old daughter. She'll come in at any time between 6 and 9 to say 'I wanna go downstairs'.

My internal clock is actually very, very good. I havent needed a real alarm in years now. I *did* wake up when I wanted to, but I fell back to sleep without making the critical "Move body from bed" step.

That's a real bummer. Are you in damage limitation now?

bronxelf says:

well right now the worst part of it is just the general overall Cranky I've got going on right now. I'm going to switch this bad boy out to boingo, and head directly to 18th street for photo paper and a new photo portfolio Then I can snag lunch on my way, and head into the darkroom and print madly for 4 or 5 hours. *sigh*

Or maybe I should jsut sent the damned negatives to a printer, stay home and design this store, which is utterly *due* tomorrow, and I have to be in to plotblog at noon on the nose, rather than 2.

No. Im going to the darkroom.

I'm hungry and cold and want to go back to bed.

:S

Just the usual stuff is really bothering me. Whenever I get this stressed the entire "living in a construction site" really begins to make my very upset, until I want to throw everything out, regardless of what it is.

I so know what you mean. Stress makes every little bit of disorder in my environment just... aggrivating, annoying and nearly impossible to ignore.

*hugs* Twinkie?
